About the Journal

Journal of Ecologies is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research on ecological relations across diverse global social, cultural, and political contexts. The journal focuses on how ecological processes are shaped, negotiated, and transformed through everyday practices, community-based initiatives, governance arrangements, and broader socio-political dynamics.

It welcomes contributions that examine ecological issues across a wide range of settings, including Indigenous and place-based contexts, policy and institutional environments, and emerging areas such as digital, narrative, and multispecies relations. The journal provides a platform for empirically grounded and theoretically engaged scholarship that advances critical understanding of ecological change, sustainability, and regenerative processes.
